Like poison

The droplets fall into my arms
Like you once did on my roof

The quiet smash
Of breaking
The loud hiss
Of boiling water on my tongue

The rubber gloves never protected me from
These kinds of chemicals
There scent carries infinite miles
The effects last much longer
