The spark that ignites the flame
We love to save
As our world turns into fire
We let our hatred overpower our desire
Our love becomes the water
Trying to put out the heat
But we all forget to breathe
We forget to live
We just survive
We just put all our need for happiness aside
And take a ride
To the next out-of-control bonfire
To where people scream for their lives
We may save one or two
But we ourselves wont get through

About how many of us try to help others when we have lost ourselves in a dark place, and instead of trying to save ourselves first, we prioritize our friends, family, or even strangers in hopes that they can get through it alive, but we forget about the risk that maybe we wont survive.
